We are a group of Wedding Officiants who specialize in creating a ceremony to fit each couple personally. Experience makes all the difference. We have been performing dozens of weddings a year for over two decades!
A Wedding Officiant is the most essential element of the day. Without one you would not have a legal marriage. Without a good one, you might even have a complete disaster on your hands! With any of our officiants, you can rest easy. We'll stand beside you, lending calm confidence to your wedding day.
While our forte is our chapel weddings with 3 price points to choose from, we are pleased to come to you at your home or venue. For these, we base our fee on location, size, and complexity of your celebration. Our region draws destination weddings in scenic settings, for which Portland, Oregon is famous. Nearby Wine Country provides some of the most beautiful backdrops in our area.
What kind of wedding would you like? Religious/spiritual or not? Modern or traditional, or perhaps Boho/quirky? We honor your wishes, whether for nondenominational, spiritual, nonreligious, to include special cultural elements, or a mix of styles. Our officiants happily preside over civil ceremonies that are as simple--and legal--as those performed by a Justice of the Peace. We will work with you to create the nuptials your two hearts desire. ♥♥
The idea behind Wedded Your Way was born in 2002 after serving as Maid of Honor in my best friend's wedding. She had wanted a secular wedding, which is partly why she'd chosen a Vegas chapel, and my friend and her fiancé had specifically asked their officiant for a nonreligious ceremony. Alas, he evidently could not help himself from throwing in a scripture verse. Regrettably, the one he chose was same one that had been recited at my friend's first wedding. A reminder of her prior failed marriage was the last thing she needed on her wedding day! I wondered: Why should a couple be denied the wedding they ask for on their big day? Whose wedding is it, anyway? I have endeavored ever since to give couples what they want.
I feel comfortable and confident officiating most any kind of wedding, including for gay couples. There are only a few weddings I won't do. Please don't ask me to jump out of a plane, and don't ask me to write vows that include the "O" word, as in Love, Honor, and "Obey." Otherwise, please tell me your ideas and I'll find the words and tone that will enable you to be Blissfully Wedded Your Way.

From teacher and musician, to mom and friend, Rev. Kim’s journey to becoming a minister has been based on her firm belief that love is the glue that holds us all together. Being a strong proponent of diversity and inclusion, she brings respect and tolerance for any and all paths. Being able to share in the joy of the union of two lives and hearts reaffirms Kim’s belief that connection is at the core of all of our lives.
Kim became ordained through Circle of Light Ministries, LLC in 2021, to be able to perform a double ceremony encompassing marriage and a 30-year anniversary renewal of vows. The honor of being part of that experience brought great joy, which she has endeavored to infuse into every ceremony since.
With the spiritual renewal of meditation, music and the many expressions of love, Kim plans to continue to guide the unions of loving souls for years to come.

Rev. Amy Pereira, ordained via Circle of Light Ministries, LLC in 2016, is happy to come to you at your home or other Portland area venue or location to perform your wedding, and she also officiates at our chapel. She discovered love for creating personal wedding ceremonies during her own engagement, more than two decades ago, when she and her then-fiancé explored ways to creatively incorporate a number of faiths and traditions into their own ceremony. For Amy, all life is sacred. She has deep appreciation for working with those of diverse cultures and backgrounds with varied traditions and beliefs. She maintains her own inner peace and serenity through yoga, meditation, Reiki, retreating along her riverfront home and hiking trails of the Pacific NW with her husband and son, and is passionate about world travel, holistic nutrition, and environmental science. Amy considers it an honor to be with couples and families during significant life moments and brings to her work a grounded sense of wisdom and lighthearted joy.

Introducing Rev. Tammy Russell, ordained this year via Circle of Light Ministries, LLC. An intuitive energy healer trained as a Reiki Master and Biofield Tuner, she bases her success in helping clients, on her strong connection with a team of spiritual guides. Her goal is not only to help others feel better but to also strengthen their connection with their "higher self" and spirit team.
In her spare time, Tammy likes to be outside hiking, walking, chilling out or camping; cooking, baking and hanging out with her family.
We are pleased to welcome back our Spanish-speaking Officiant, Rev. Guadalupe Espinor, who was ordained by Circle of Light Ministries, LLC in 2012. She has been on medical leave for several years, though we are happy to report that she is feeling much better now.
Born in Mexico and raised here in the United states, Rev. Lupe has a Christian background, though she will customize a ceremony however you like, religious or not. Lupe is pleased to serve both English and Spanish-speaking couples and has a deep respect for both cultures.
While Rev. Lupe is semi-retired, she enjoys being involved with her son and young grandsons and officiating for our Spanish-speaking couples on an as-needed basis.
Enjoy a peek at one of our weddings in progress.
